halk.app Privacy Policy

This policy covers halk.app — the personal website of developer Oleksii Halk — and its two forms: the contact form on the home page and the app support form (halk.app/<app>/support and halk.app/contact).

Every app has its own privacy policy, linked from the app's page on halk.app.

What we receive

Only what you send through a form:

• the message text and the chosen topic;
• a contact to reply to (email, Telegram, etc.) if you provide one; on the home-page contact form, your name and email;
• on the support form, the app, and its version and platform (iOS or Android) if the app passed them in the link to the form;
• screenshots, if you attach them (up to 3 images). Before forwarding, we remove embedded metadata from PNG, JPEG and WebP files — EXIF (including location), XMP and text fields. HEIC files are forwarded unchanged: if you do not want to share their metadata, send the screenshot as PNG or JPEG.

Where it goes

• The message is forwarded to the developer's private Telegram chat via the Telegram Bot API (operated by Telegram) and kept there.
• Reports about «Аліас+» (Alias+) are also copied into that app's moderation queue on our server — the same place reports sent from inside the app go. Screenshots are not copied there, only their count.

We use this data only to reply to you and fix the problem. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for mailings.

IP address, cookies, analytics

• We do not store your IP address. It is used only in the server's memory to limit how many messages one address can send (spam protection) and is gone within a day at most. It is not written to logs, not included in the message and not forwarded anywhere.
• The site sets no cookies and has no counters or third-party analytics.
• Document and form pages load nothing from other domains. The halk.app home page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers.

How long we keep it

Messages in the Telegram chat are kept as long as needed for the conversation and deleted on request. Copies of «Аліас+» reports are kept under the «Аліас+» privacy policy.
